This large 41m2 vintage studio is full of surprises with its nooks and crannies, and has been furnished with a clever bed on drawers, enclosed by a curtain and a bookcase. As it’s located in an old building in Stockholm, Sweden, it has nothing in common with apartments in modern buildings with optimized surfaces. Here, originality reigns, both in terms of decoration and layout. The main room is not huge, and serves as living room, bedroom and study.
The kitchen is fortunately large enough to accommodate the dining table, and has retained its original furnishings, dating from the mid-20th century, when the building housing the apartment was constructed. The decor pays homage to this mid-century era, being vintage and colorful. In the large entrance hall, the style is more designer, with coat hooks and a bench, and the apartment also boasts a pleasant balcony overlooking a verdant courtyard.
